What temperature is the heat protection effective to?

For the health of your hair, avoid exposing it to temperatures exceeding 380°F. Even with heat protection, prolonged exposure to such high temperatures can lead to irreversible damage to the keratin proteins, resulting in weakened strands and breakage.

Will it leave a residue?

Though it contains styling polymers, they're virtually undetectable, ensuring your hair feels completely natural. The styling polymers deliver flexible hold (not stiff, sticky or crunchy) and act as a heat protectant and a UV protectant.
